Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental

With the lift pass "SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" you have access to one of the largest connected ski regions in Austria! On numerous occasions, SkiWelt has won prizes as one of the best ski areas in the world. 90 modern lifts, 284 km of piste (of which 254 km can be covered with artificial snow) including 23 km of ski routes, as well as three snow parks offer unlimited skiing fun. Regardless if you are young or old, novice or professional – SkiWelt has something for everyone.

Commencing with the winter season 2015/2016 the new, high-tech, 10-person gondola "Hartkaiser" takes you up to 1,530 m altitude. The cabin lift has heated seating and Wi-Fi, and replaces the previous "Hartkaiser" lift, now being one of the most modern lifts in the world. This also leads to modernisation of the actual lift stations. The mountain station is being enlarges to include the new "Erlebnis Eldorado Hartkaiser" activity area, including e.g. a children's restaurant and activity ski school. The valley station will include a new sports shop, restaurant, apres ski bar, parking garage and a heated ski depot.

From Brixen you can easily reach Hartkaiser and Hohe Salve through Hochbrixen on one side, where beginners as well as experts and freeriders will certainly get their money's worth. On the other side, you can enter the Kitzbühel pistes through the Choralpe. Boarder's Playground on the Gampenkogel sweetens the boarder's day. The 5.5 km long valley run from the Choralpe demands some experience, whereas beginners will find great pistes on the Westendorf side or near Hochbrixen. Freeriders will get their money's worth in Hopfgarten, Scheffau or Westendorf. The region's 77 ski huts also offer a real treat.

A fantastic experience is offered in Austria's largest night ski area. Freshly prepared and lit pistes attract even locals who blend in with the visitors, everyone sweeping down the slopes together.

If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!

By upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass, you get access to over 2 750 km of piste and 937 lifts in 23 ski regions!

The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers night skiing possibilities in three ski areas: in Söll, Brixen and Westendorf. A 300 m night skiing piste marked in blue can be found at Schusterbühel lift which can be illuminated until 19:00.

The highlight regarding night skiing awaits you in SkiWelt Söll. Here you can look forward to Austia's largest night ski area! From Wednesday to Saturday, a total of 10 km prepared pistes are available until nighttime. The five descents in the area nearby the Hochsöll gondola as well as the chairlifts Keat and Hexen6er are illuminated by flood-light until 21:30 in the evening. Apart from the various slopes, the fun area "Hans im Glück" at the 4-person chair lift is illuminated for nighttime skiing fun. Night skiing in Söll is extraordinary and so extensive that a special lift pass has to be acquired in order to use the offer.

Additionally, the 500 m beginner's area at the 4-person chairlift in Westendorf is illuminated every Tuesday until 21:00.
