Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Active Hotel Waldhof is located in the district of Habichen, approx. 1 km from the centre of Oetz as well as 600 m from the Acherkogel lift and the pistes.The traditional hotel offers a reception, lobby with fireplace, lift, dining room, restaurant, breakfast room, bar, café, TV- and lounge room, children's play room and playground, library, parlour, Wi-Fi, ski and ski boot room as well as a conservatory and a terrace. Parking spaces and a parking garage (for a fee) are offered, depending on availability. A charging station for electric cars can also be used subject to availability (for a fee).
The approx. 900 m² large spa area (opening hours as per info in resort) with indoor pool and kiddie pool as well as block sauna, Finnish sauna, wood cabin sauna in the forest, steam room, heat bench, Kneipp baths, spa showers as well as a fresh air and relaxation room is available to use for free. The solarium (for a fee) is also available, and massages as well as beauty treatments can also be booked (on request, for a fee). The fitness room can be used for free.
New as of winter 2022/23 is the largest hotel water slide in the Ötztal (approx. 100 m long), offering lots of fun with its "water slide boat" and more.
Free-time activities offered include table tennis, darts, billiards and table football (all for a fee). Furthermore, you can rent hiking backpacks and poles. Twice per week, a guided winter hike takes place, which you can participate in for free (as per info in resort).
The "Happy Family Weeks" will take place from 16/12 - 23/12/2024, 13/01 - 27/01/2024 and 09/03 - 16/03/2024 (offer provided by "Ötztal Tourismus", subject to change). When staying for 7 nights or more, children ages 4 and up (born in and after 2018) will receive one free 5-day ski lesson. Children ages 2-4 will can receive free childcare for 5 days (children must be toilet-trained/nappy-free, only with valid lift pass, midday childcare for a fee, registration in resort, registration at all ski schools of the Widi's Kids Club; changes and restrictions of the services may apply).
Board
The half-board included in the price consists of a breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu with salad buffet in the evening. A special children's menu is served for the little ones. There are also regular theme evenings. The Christmas (24.12.) and New Year's Eve dinner are also already included in the price.Single room, shower/wc, HB

- Children's beds are only permitted in the "Double room/2 addl. beds" and in the "Apartment, sleeps 6".
- The Happy Family Weeks are valid for children born in and after 2018 (ID required) as well as for all ski schools of the "Widi's Kids Club" (subject to change).
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children up to and including 7 years of age. Accompanied by a parent, children from 6 to 7 years inclusive receive a free Snow-Kids-Card. The children's rate applies for children travelling alone (e.g. in a ski course). Children under 6 years receive a free Snow-Kids-Card. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
