Location and facilities
The comfortable 4-star Hotel Tauernstern is located in the resort centre of Winklern. You can get to the ski area Heiligenblut in around 22 km. The ski bus stops in approx. 50 m and takes you two the ski area Mölltaler Gletscher (not included in offered lift pass), which is approx. 20 km away.The cosily furnished hotel has an entrance area with reception, lift, Wi-Fi, common room, breakfast room, dining hall, restaurant, a hotel-own café (approx. 50 m away) and a ski and ski boot room.
The sauna area (incl.) offers relaxation in the form of a steam bath, sauna, organic sauna and a relaxation room. Free-of-charge parking spaces are also available.

Important notes
- Access to the sauna area is only allowed to guests ages 16 and up.
- Children ages 9 and under will not receive a lift pass voucher. Instead, when accompanied by a parent, children between 5 and 9 years of age will receive a "Schneemannkarte" (lift pass), which is payable in resort for €9.50 per child, per day. For children travelling alone (e.g. in ski lessons), the children's rate applies. Children under the age of 5 ski for free. Further information is available at the lift office.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
