Ski vacations Götzens – feel the magic of the mountains!
Axamer LizumA holiday in Axamer Lizum stands for an unforgettable winter experience. Embedded in an impressive landscape of the Innsbruck mountains lies the sunny resort. The ski area was extended especially for the Olympic Games in 1964 and offers descents into the town itself as long as the snow conditions allow it. Besides various pistes with different degrees of difficuties, there is also a snowpark and a tobbagan run. The cosy villages have maintained their original charm and enchant you with their traditional Tyrolen architecture. Axamer Lizum is especially interesting for families. Due to the family-friendly Magic-Mountain-Programme, the resort offers entertainment for both old and young.
Götzens is a small, romantic resort just 10 km from Innsbruck. The former Olympic ski region from 1964 and 1976 is still an attraction for many guests. It is only 500 m to the Götzens/Mutters ski area, and Axamer Lizum is approx. 10 km away. The village is placed on a sunny terrace and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain scenery.
For leisure activities the area leaves nothing to desire! Peace and relaxation can be found on a horse-drawn sleigh ride or during winter hiking and torchlight hiking. If you're into action you will enjoy a night out bowling or on the toboggan run. Furthermore, there is a leisure centre in Axams with a great offer of activities. The Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck invites guests to take advantage of its many shopping opportunities.
