Cross-country Zell am See
Cross-country skiers will certainly not get a raw deal in Zell am See! The picturesque landscape surrounding Zell Lake is the ideal terrain for the Nordic disciplines. Zell am See and Kaprun provide approx. 38 km of trail. Kaprun offers 25 km, one of which is a 3 km high-altitude glacial run (2,900 m) at the Kitzsteinhorn. This tour will be a real highlight in the winter holidays for all cross-country skiing fans!
Zell am See offers a total of approx. 13 km of diverse trails. The circuit course on the frozen lake is a special treat! The high run of Zell (1,300 m) is accessible in just five minutes taking the CityXpress! The 3 km trail is ideal for the classic style and leads skiers along the beautiful scenery of the Schmittenhöhe.
Night tracks can be found in Kaprun as well as in Zell am See-Schüttdorf, both with a length of approx. 4 km. If this is still not enough, you can find a further 200 km of trails in the skiing region, incl. the Saalbach and Pinzga trails.
