Location

The family-led Gästehaus Siegllehen hotel is situated approx. 2 km away from the centre of Schönau am Königssee. You can access the ski area by taking the Eckerbichllift (Obersalzberg) gondola lift approx. 7,4 km away, or the Götschenkopfbahn cable car approx. 13 km away. In addition, the Jennerbahn cable car operates in the area, the station is approx. 600 m away. There is a picturesque and inviting lake, the Königssee, at a distance of approx. 800 m. Cross-country skiing trails are in close proximity. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 600 m away from the hotel. The next public transport stop is about 300 m away.

Facilities

Our hotel features various facilities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a common room and a breakfast room. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Children

High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Board

The bed and breakfast catering plan includes a rich buffet style breakfast with regional products. On request, we also serve dietary meals, lactose-free dishes, gluten-free, vegetarian as well as vegan alternatives.

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• If you have booked equipment and courses through us, the ski hire and ski school are located in Berchtesgaden (approx. 5 km).
• Included services when booking with lift pass: Use of the toboggan run at the Hochschwarzeck lift, use of the toboggan run at the Jennerbahn, 1 x daily toll for the Rossfeld panoramic road (only when using the toll road by car), 10% discount on the local thermal bath "Watzmanntherme" (upon presentation of the lift pass)
• The RVO public bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. If a lift pass is presented, there is no toll charge.
• As of the 24/25 season, skiing on the Jenner is no longer possible. However, use of the Jennerbahn cable car for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers is included in the lift pass.
