Ski area Valfréjus & La Norma
Valfréjus itself is known for countless areas of deep snow that delight skiers and snowboarders alike. In the "Boarder Cross Park", a few tricks can be learned and improved. The idyllic forest run, which runs through the beautiful nature and ends in the middle of the village centre, is also very popular with holidaymakers. In addition, numerous modern snow-making facilities ensure additional snow reliability in the winter season.
The "ESKI-MO" lift pass also gives winter sports enthusiasts access to 347 kilometres of varied pistes in a total of five highly interesting ski areas. Thus, all guests who have booked at least a 6-day ski pass can, in addition to the pistes in Valfréjus, also use the La Norma ski area and the Aussois, Val Cenis Vanoise, Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc snow areas for one day each. These ski areas are predominantly characterised by easy to intermediate slopes. However, there are also some black runs. In addition, a free ski bus service provides a convenient connection between the individual ski areas.
Orelle, only 18 km from Valfréjus, is the perfect entry point to the ski area of Val Thorens, the highest resort of "Les 3 Vallées". So no one should miss out on this trip to the largest ski area in the world! Holders of the ESKI-MO ski pass receive discounted day ski passes for Val Thorens or the entire 3 Vallées on site.
Après ski Valfréjus
In friendly Valfréjus there are various bars that invite you to enjoy après-ski! In the disco "K2 Club", for example, popular DJs play every day.For those who like it a bit more cosy, a few restaurants with French and other traditional cuisine invite you to spend a pleasant evening. The centre of Valfréjus offers a nice shopping arcade for shopping. There are also various leisure and sporting events to keep you busy.
Those who would like to spend a day without skis can, for example, enjoy a snowshoe hike or ice skating. In the evening, you should also try out the "Bob Park", the exciting toboggan run with a length of about 2 km - under floodlights, of course!
Snowpark: Snowpark Valfréjus
The Valfréjus ski area does not have its own snow park, but the entrance to "Les 3 Vallées" via Orelle is only about 18 km away. Upon presentation of the "ESKI-MO" ski pass, a discount on the day ticket is available here. Afterwards, Europe's largest ski area offers winter sports enthusiasts plenty of freestyle opportunities in three top-class parks. In Val Thorens, visitors can enjoy the "Val Thorens Snowpark" at an altitude of 2,500 m to 2,600 m, 600 m long and almost 70,000 square metres in the "Plateaux" sector, near the "Gand Fond" gondola. In Méribel-Mottaret, you can also use the "Moon Park" created by Ho5Park, which also offers the little ones great opportunities to practice with its "Mini Moon" course.
And finally, a unique experience awaits in the same place: the "DC Area 43 Snowpark", which was specially brought to life by the cult shoe brand DC Shoes Europe. The company was helped by none other than the Hill Technics team, which also includes European X-Games Superpipe Shaper Benjamin Ravanel. The result of this expert collaboration is a snow park with extravagant features and top equipment.
