Cross-country Hohentauern

You will find a network of 16 km of cross-country trails on the high plateau of Hohentauern, classic-style and skating trails run parallel to each other. The Hohentauern network of trails includes the almost 7 km long Tauern trail/family trail (blue) as well as the 2 km long sports trail (black) and the almost 2 km long centre trail (red). An approximately 5 km long hiking trail in the Triebental valley rounds off the offer.

The cross-country trails overlap in places and are characterised by a varied elevation profile. Having been awarded the "Styrian Cross-Country Trail Seal of Quality" and membership of "Cross-Country Skiing Styria", the Hohentauern region is bound by quality criteria - appropriate preparation, marking and extensive work on the cross-country skiing trails are a matter of course and guarantee you a wonderful cross-country skiing experience! In order to use all cross-country trails, a fee is payable in some cases.
