Cross-country Embach

A total of 8 km of prepared cross-country trails can be found around Embach. The trail starts in the resort centre and, thanks to various short cuts, can be explored at several lengths in a 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-km run. The entire 8 km long high trail leads up to the Maria Elend pilgrimage church and is considered one of the most beautiful trails in the Salzburger Land. In the end, a serpentine leads you to the pilgrimage church, where the efforts of the ascent is rewarded with a wonderful panorama of the Salzburg mountain landscapes. Wood paths lead you back into the resort centre.
