Those who prefer it cosier, can spend a romantic evening in front of the fire in one of the nicer restaurants. By the way, generally you will not book a table in advance, but rather wait at the bar or in the vestibule area until you can be seated. American cuisine is especially well-known for its grilled beef. In no other country in the world will meat-lovers be catered to so well. No matter if you are looking for a Filet Mignon, New York Steak, T-Bone-Steak, Burger etc., you can have a different meat dish every day. As the waiters/waitresses only earn a low salary, they are dependent on their customers' generosity regarding a tip. You will be treated friendly and courteous, however you are also expected to offer a tip of approx. 20%.

The variety of sporty après ski facilities is, as almost everything is in the USA, huge: Snowshoe hikes, snowmobile tours, as well as horse and dog-drawn sleigh rides are only some examples.
