Cross-country Zuoz (St. Moritz)

The entire ski region around Zuoz offers an extensive trails network of approx. 220 km and hence, makes this area a real winter sports paradise for Nordic ski fans, catering to all desires. A reall challenge can be found on the longest trail, over 61 km in total. This track leads from Maloja and S-chanf, right over to Zernez.

Especially recommendable is the most-popular trail in Switzerland, the 42 km long marathon trail between Maloja and S-chanf. On the second Sunday in March, the annual cross-country event, the Engadin Ski Marathon takes place, which always attracts thousands of participants. The best views can be enjoyed from the high-altitude trails. The intermediate track "Alp Bondo" is especially worth the effort, as it runs between 2,093 and 2,200 m over a total length of 8 km. The same applies to the high-altitude trails at Maloja and Silvaplana. If you prefer to ski later in the evening, there are 3 floodlight pistes available, for instance the 2 km long night-trail at St. Moritz.

To use the trails, a Swiss cross-country trail pass is required. It costs either CHF 10 per day, or CHF 30 per week.
