Location and facilities

The 4-star Parkhotel du Sauvage, built in Art Nouveau style, is quietly located in a park in the centre of Meiringen. The ski bus stop is only about 50 m away, the mountain railway about 700 m. The cross-country ski trail can be accessed after about 500 m. Built in 1880, the house has a hotel lobby, reception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, café, children's playroom, lounge, bar, library and a ski room. Free parking is available at the house, subject to availability. A charging station for electric cars can also be used for a fee. The public swimming pool of Meiringen invites you to relax (use included in the guest card, subject to change) and is only about 80 m away.

The approx. 100 m² course room, an indoor tennis court and a table football table can be used for a fee. You can also make use of a toboggan rental, ski rental and ski service for a fee. Furthermore, the guest card offers you numerous discounts on site, including free use of regional public transport and the ski bus.

Board

Half board with daily breakfast buffet and 3-course evening meal is included in the holiday price.

  • Free use of the toboggan bus from Meiringen to Grosse Scheidegg with a lift pass good for 4 or more days in the periods 25/12/2024 - 05/01/2025 (daily) and 10/01/2025 - 02/03/2025 (Thu-Sun). Toboggans can be hired at the Schwarzwaldalp at a reduced rate of CHF 10
