Location

The traditional 3-star Thermalhotels & Walliser Alpentherme hotel is located approx. 100 m away from the centre of Leukerbad. You can access the ski area by taking the Leukerbad-Rinderhütte gondola lift approx. 750 m away, or the Gemmibahn cable car approx. 800 m away. The Leukerbad railway station can be reached after approx. 500 m. Local shopping opportunities lie within approx. 100 m, cafés and restaurants are just outside the door.

Facilities

The accommodation comprises the main building, Maison Blanche, along with the Hotel de France and Grand Bain wings, as well as the Valais Alpine Thermal Baths. All the buildings are connected by an underground passageway, allowing you to access all the facilities with ease.

The modern hotel’s facilities include a reception (in the neighbouring Hotel de France) , a reception area, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a lift, the hotel’s own restaurant, a café and a hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room. There is an on-site parking garage (for a fee – subject to availability).

Spa

The hotel’s spa area, which covers approx. 2,500 m², features a steam bath, a Finnish sauna and a relaxation room. Inside your accommodation, there is an indoor pool measuring around 120 m². Outdoors, guests have access to an outdoor pool measuring approximately 72 m². Bathrobes and pool slippers are available for hire on site.

The neighbouring Valais Alpine Thermal Spa, covering approximately 8,000 m², is situated at an altitude of 1,411 metres and is Europe’s largest and highest-altitude alpine medical and wellness centre. It can also be used free of charge (excluding the Sauna Village).

In addition, you will receive one free entry per person per stay to the Valais Sauna Village, as well as a 20 per cent discount on treatments at the Valais Alpentherme.

Children

High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

Sports facilities and activities at the hotel include a gym (approx. 70 m²).

Board

When booking rooms on a bed and breakfast basis, the board plan includes a breakfast buffet. Breakfast is served in the Hotel de France wing.

• Please note that the accommodation’s spa area will be closed from 01/10/2025 until further notice due to maintenance work. The Alpentherme can still be used as advertised.
