Location and facilities
The family-run 3-star Hotel Blümlisalp, with its gorgeous atmosphere, is situated in the centre of Kandersteg and directly next to a ski bus stop. The "Oeschinensee Kandersteg" gondola can be reached in about 700 m. Cross-country skiers can access the nearest trail just about 50 m away and tobogganers will find a 3.5 km long toboggan run approx. 400 m away.The hotel is composed of a main building and side building constructed in chalet-style, of which are connected to each other via walkway. The cosy hotel provides a reception with luggage storage, lift, Wi-Fi, lounge with piano, dining room, two cosy a la carte restaurants - the "Stübli" and "Arven-Veranda" - as well as a children's play room and a ski room. Moreover, a terrace is available to dine upon (with service, weather dependent). Free parking spaces are also available at the hotel.
The sauna area with its organic and Finnish saunas as well as a relaxation room, are available to enjoy for free. The solarium can be used for a fee.
Further entertainment is provided in the form of table tennis and toboggan hire (for a fee).
Board
The half-board included in the price includes a breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu in the evening. A special children's menu can be prepared for a fee (extra charge).
