Location

The comfortable 4-star Grandhotel Giessbach is located directly on Lake Brienz, about 5.5 km from the centre of Brienz and the nearest shopping facilities. A free shuttle (with advance notification only) takes you from Brienz railway station to the hotel. The Meiringen-Hasliberg Reuti cable car takes you about 15 km to the start of the ski area.
