Ski area Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche

The Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche ski area, which has been recognised by the ADAC for its excellent snow conditions, lies at altitudes ranging from 1,524 to 3,480 metres. From October to May, there’s no shortage of snow here! With the included ‘Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche’ ski pass, you have access to 150 kilometres of slopes and 23 lifts. One of the most beautiful runs is the legendary Ventina, a 15-kilometre-long valley run from the Plateau Rosa. Beginners can enjoy lovely practice slopes close to the resort, as well as predominantly flat terrain at Plan Maison and wide, well-groomed runs throughout the Breuil-Cervinia ski area. But there are also some challenging runs for experts. Slope No. 21, in particular, with its 1.2 km length, is a real challenge! Numerous controlled and secured freeride and deep-snow areas are waiting to be conquered, and those seeking a special thrill will find endless descents with heliskiing on Monte Rosa. Snowboarders will also get their money’s worth at the snow park by the Fornet lifts and on the boardercross course on piste no. 26! Those who don’t want to take off their skis even after dark can continue to enjoy the slopes on Breuil-Cervinia’s floodlit piste.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.05% or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.
