Ski area Pinzolo

The "Pinzolo" lift pass gives you access to a small but beautiful family ski area around the Doss del Sabion with a total of 30 kilometres of piste. There are 14 lifts between 770 and 2,101 metres above sea level. The predominantly easy and gentle to moderately difficult slopes are perfect for gaining your first experience in the snow. There is also a holiday programme specially tailored to children, which is why families also like to choose this manageable ski area.

The longest piste is approx. 5.8 km long and is more suitable for advanced skiers. Pros can whizz down the black "Pista Competition", where one of the most important international ski championships for juniors has been held for years. For snowboarders, the ski area at Busa di Grual has a fun park with tables, slides, jumps and a half-pipe. Pinzolo is connected to the Madonna di Campiglio-Val di Sole interconnected ski areas by a gondola lift.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.

Night skiing Pinzolo

In Pinzolo, Italy shows that it also stands for dolce vita when it comes to skiing. The night skiing area has a special highlight in store for its guests. If you want to go night skiing, you can hire a championship piste with a black difficulty level especially for this purpose. What may seem decadent also has its price, of course. No less beautiful, but considerably cheaper, Folgarida Marilleva invites you to ski at night under the same starry sky. Just a stone's throw from Pinzolo, the groomed descents are open several times a week for extended skiing fun into the night. Food and drink and a good atmosphere on and off the piste are of course also guaranteed during night skiing.

Après ski Pinzolo

Pinzolo is more tranquil than its fashionable neighbour Madonna di Campiglio. To the delight of most holidaymakers, it is also much cheaper here! In the evening, you should enjoy the good Trentino Kitchen in the restaurants and then round off the day with a drink in one of the bars.

But there is also plenty to do during the day away from the pistes. At the Pinzolo riding centre, you can explore the area on horseback and there are dog sled rides through the snow-covered winter landscape. A paragliding flight from Doss del Sabion promises pure thrills. The resort also offers an indoor pool, a modern ice stadium with curling facilities and ice climbing routes at the frozen Nardis waterfalls. If you need even more choice, you can take a trip to neighbouring Madonna di Campiglio and, with a bit of luck, even meet a real VIP while strolling through the exclusive pedestrian zone.

Snowpark Pinzolo: Snowpark Brenta Park

As in almost every Italian ski area, there is a snowpark in Pinzolo that is well worth a visit. The "Brenta Park" can be reached with the Grual 4-seater chair lift and has a wide variety of obstacles for you. It offers a suitable introduction as well as a new challenge for every riding level. The upper part of the area is perfect for advanced riders. Jumps from 6 to 9 metres in length, a flat rail, a 9-metre-long rainbow box and a flat down flat rail provide the height you need to give free rein to your creativity and are just waiting to be discovered by you.

The newcomers to the scene can be found further down. With various fun boxes, small rails and a series of simple jumps, they are given the opportunity to try their first jumps and slowly approach the big obstacles. Whether you are entering a snowpark for the first time or are already an "old hand" in this area, you are sure to have fun here!
