Cross-country Malles Venosta

In the Vinschgau, cross-country fans have a choice of 90 km of prepared trails for classic, as well as skating-style skiing. The sunniest and most popular route in the entire Ortler Skiarena can be found in the cross-country centre Schlinig near Malles Venosta. The Nordic ski centre was the venue for the Junior Cross-Country World Cup 2008 and offers a 15 km long trail which leads to the Schliniger pasture. The trail spans over 150 m of altitude and, with its medium level of difficulty, is a treat for every skier. In the Reschenpass, in Taufers in the Münstertal or in Sulden, Nordic skiers can find simple and challenging stretches. A fee needs to be paid for use of the trails.
