At a glance
The family-run 4-star superior Hotel "Das Tyrol" is located quietly and in the centre of San Candido. The Haunold lift as well as the cross-country trails can be reached within approx. 500 m. On request, a free-of-charge transfer can be arranged between the San Candido railway station and the hotel (needs to be booked in advance).The cosy hotel offers a reception, lift, common room, Wi-Fi, dining room, a la carte restaurant, parlour, bar, reading room, children's playroom as well as a ski boot room with drying machine. Free parking spaces as well as a free-of-charge parking garage are available at the hotel (only upon prior reservation, based upon availability). A charging station for electric vehicles (payable locally, upon availability) can also be found.
In the modern wellness area you will find an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, Turkish steam bath, sauna, vitarium, infrared brine cabin, Kneipp basin and experience showers, cold room with mill wheel shower, relaxation room with water beds, ice fountain and vitality bar. Massages and cosmetic treatments are available for a fee. There is also a small fitness room, table football and billiards. You also have the option of taking part in a guided snowshoe hike (4 x per week, see info on site).
The hotel has been awarded the GSTC sustainability certificate.

The holiday price include half board which consists of a welcome drink, a breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course menu to choose from with salad and soup buffet in the evening.Moreover, a sweets buffet and a candle-light dinner or a speciality evening with typically Pusterian meals are offered interchangeably once per week. At Christmas, a gala dinner is organised. On request, you can look forward to a New Year's Eve party (31/12) with festive menu including a party and midnight mulled wine (for a fee).
