Location

The cosy 3-star Superior Dolomites Hotel Union hotel is located approx. 1,4 km away from the centre of Toblach. You can access the ski area by taking the Haunold gondola lift approx. 5 km away, or the Helmissimo cable car approx. 9 km away. Ski beginners can access a practice lift to learn skiing and improve their technique approx. 800 m away from the hotel. Cross-country skiing trails are in close proximity. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 4,5 km away from the hotel. Ski buses stop within about 50 m. The Toblach railway station can be reached after approx. 150 m. There is a shuttle bus service to the mountain railway station (for a fee) (for a fee).

Facilities

This lovingly furnished hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a lift, a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant, a hotel bar, a bistro and a wine cellar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On site, there are parking spaces, a parking garage (for a fee) and a charging point for electric vehicles (for a fee) – subject to availability.

The accommodation holds GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) certification, which attests to its environmentally friendly and sustainable operations. For example, staff receive ongoing training, and the hotel’s energy requirements are largely met in an emission-free manner via solar panels, solar collectors and district heating. Furthermore, the hotel is certified as a cross-country skiing hotel and has received an award for regionality, as well as AIC certification for the preparation of gluten-free meals.

Spa

The 500 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul (minimum age for admission: 16 years). Your accommodation features an indoor pool. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a Finnish sauna, a whirlpool, a Turkish steam bath, a spa shower and an infrared cabin (for a fee). Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. A solarium is available for a fee. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe (for a fee) and sauna towels (for a fee) on a loan basis.

Children

Cots are provided for a fee, high chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

The accommodation offers various sporting activities, such as a fitness room and an indoor tennis court, with or without a coach (on request and for a fee). Per room and stay, you can use the indoor tennis court for one hour free of charge, including rackets and balls (valid for stays of 4 nights or more; booking required; only between 8 am and 12 noon).

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board basis, meals include a generous breakfast buffet and a choice between a traditional, Mediterranean or vegetarian 3-course menu in the evening (excluding themed evenings), accompanied by a salad, vegetable and starter buffet. A Christmas dinner is served on Christmas Day, and a New Year’s Eve dinner is served on New Year’s Eve. Guests staying at the house receive one drink voucher per person per stay for a glass of mulled wine (for stays of 4 nights or more; not redeemable for cash; non-transferable). Lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available on request.
