Location

The cosy 3-star superior Dolomites Hotel Union is approx. 1.4 km from the centre of Dobbiaco. Access to the ski area is possible via the lift, which is about 5 km away, or another lift about 9 km away. There is a practice lift for beginners about 800 metres from the accommodation. Cross-country skiing is possible on the nearby network of trails. You can also get active on the toboggan run approx. 4.5 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop approx. 50 metres away. Dobbiaco train station is around 150 metres away. A shuttle runs to the lift (for a fee).

Facilities

Facilities at the lovingly furnished hotel include a reception, Wi-Fi, lounge, lift, breakfast room, hotel restaurant, hotel bar, bistro and wine cellar. You can store your winter sports equipment in the ski cellar. On site there are parking spaces, a parking garage (for a fee) and a charging station for electric vehicles (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

The approx. 500 m² spa area with indoor pool and panoramic views invites you to relax. Here you will also find a Finnish sauna, hot tub, Turkish steam bath, adventure shower and infrared cabin (for a fee). You can also relax in the relaxation room. The solarium can also be used for a fee.

Children

Cots are available for an additional charge, highchairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

The accommodation offers various sports facilities such as a fitness room and an indoor tennis centre with or without a trainer (on request and for a fee). You can use the indoor tennis centre with rackets and balls free of charge for one hour per room and stay (valid for stays of 4 nights or more, reservation required, only between 8 am and 12 noon).

Board

Board when booking Rooms with half board includes a rich breakfast buffet and a choice between a typical and a Mediterranean or vegetarian 3-course menu in the evening (excluding themed evenings) with salad, vegetable and starter buffet. At Christmas there is a Christmas dinner and on New Year's Eve there is a New Year's Eve dinner. Guests of the house receive a drinks voucher for a mulled wine once per person and stay (from 4 nights stay, no cash redemption, non-transferable). Lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available on request.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

• The accommodation has the GSTC certificate (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), which certifies environmentally friendly and sustainable operations. For example, employees are continuously trained and the energy requirements are largely covered by emission-free solar systems, solar panels and district heating. The hotel is also certified as a cross-country skiing hotel and has a regionality award as well as AIC certification for the preparation of gluten-free meals.
• No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 7 or under (at time of departure). For each adult lift pass purchased, one accompanying child in this age group will receive a free ticket for use of the lift facilities on site (ID required).
