Cross-country Bolzano

Cross-country skiing is also well catered for in the Bolzano region. On the Rittner Horn, at the midway station, there is the “Schönalm” trail (approx. 3.7 km), where cross-country skiers are treated to panoramic views of Bolzano and the Dolomites.

Cross-country skiers will also find various trails in the rest of the region. If you add up all the kilometres of trails across the entire Dolomiti Superski area, the total comes to a staggering 1,300 km! The nearest trails to Bolzano (Rittner Horn) are on the Seiser Alm, on the mountain opposite, featuring classic and skating trails.
