There are two cross-country skiing areas around Bardonecchia. The Plan del Colle with its four cross-country trails totalling 11 km in length really does cater for all abilities! In the Valle Stretta, a further 10 km of cross-country trails await cross-country skiing fans.
Along the trails, various huts invite you to stop for refreshments and sweeten the breaks. However, the route to the "Re Magi" hut is often closed due to the risk of avalanches. In this case, it is worth travelling to the "Terzo Alpini" hut instead - the view of the surrounding mountains will inspire you!
