The cosy Sonnenhotel Hoher Hahn hotel is located in a quiet area approx. 4,5 km away from the centre of Schwarzenberg/Erzgebirge. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Fichtlberg - Oberwiesenthal mountain railway approx. 24,5 km away. Approximately 9,4 km away there is an indoor swimming pool, the Sonnenbad. Ski beginners can access a practice lift to learn skiing and improve their technique approx. 500 m away from the hotel. Cross-country skiing trails are in close proximity. Nearby shopping opportunities can be reached within approx. 5 km.

The hotel features various facilities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi on the entire premises, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant, a hotel bar and a conservatory. Outdoors, hotel guests can find a terrace. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski storage room. Drivers can use a parking lot (for a fee) - subject to availability.
