Location

The modern 4-star Superior Alpin & Wellness Resort Hotel Ludwig Royal hotel is situated approx. 5 km away from the centre of Oberstaufen in the district of Steibis. You can access the ski area by taking the nearby Kirchhanglift gondola lift or the Imbergbahn cable car approx. 1,5 km away. Alpine skiers and snowboarders can get on a slope directly at the door.

Facilities

The hotel offers various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a lift, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Outdoors, hotel guests can find a terrace. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski storage room. Drivers can use a parking lot and a parking garage (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

The 2000 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul (minimum age for admission: 16 years). There is a 104 m² large outdoor pool. Your accommodation also features a 66 m² large indoor pool. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a Finnish sauna, an organic sauna, a whirlpool, a steam bath and an infrared cabin. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. A solarium, beauty treatments as well as massages are available for a fee. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe on a loan basis.

Entertainment

An entertainment programme is organised on selected days of the week. In addition, the accommodation offers sports facilities such as a fitness room. You’ll also receive a 22 per cent discount on tickets for the Imberg Bahn Steibis and the Hündle Bahn (winter season), as well as a 10 per cent discount on clothing at Sport Hauber.

Board

The half board plus catering plan includes a buffet style breakfast. In the afternoon (14:00 - 15:30) guests can treat themselves to Jause (a traditional cold snack). At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice, otherwise, at the chef's choice, you can help yourself to the buffet with various salads. On request, we also serve vegetarian as well as vegan alternatives.
