Nesselwang

The climatic health resort of Nesselwang lies at an altitude of 867 metres in a wooded alpine landscape in the eastern Allgäu. People were already skiing in Nesselwang 100 years ago, so the village can look back on a long winter sports tradition. No wonder, as the Alpspitz (1,575 m) rises up not far from the picturesque village with around 3,700 inhabitants. On its slopes, a small family ski area with over 8 km of descent invites you to enjoy family skiing and snowboarding.

In addition to alpine winter fun, there are various leisure activities and recreational offers from winter hiking to biathlon taster courses and snow groomer rides. Winter guests can also look forward to cosy hut magic, child-friendly tobogganing fun and extensive relaxation in the Alpspitz-Bade-Center with its versatile sauna landscape.

Allgäu

The Allgäu is part of the region Oberschwaben and stretches from the south-western part of Bavaria to the south-eastern part of Baden-Württemberg and partly along the borders of Austria. It is situated right between lower Alps and the Bavarian hill country. With an altitude of up to 2,657 m the Allgäu offers the Nebelhorn as the highest and most well-known mountain of this area. It is not for nothing that this is one of the most popular tourist areas and main winter sports regions within Germany. For Alpine skiers there is a large offer of well-prepared pistes - both for beginners, as well for more experienced winter sports fans. Many of the slopes can be covered with artificial snow and offer reliability for skiing until the end of March. After a day on the pistes you can meet up in the many huts, cafés and pubs or even spend the night in the local clubs.
