Ski area Heubach (Masserberg)
To the left of the tow, there is a blue and a red descent. A single drag lift is available in the lower piste area for the practice slope. The most important guests here are the children. A lovingly designed practice area with magic carpet and learning carousel is used extensively by the local ski school to teach the little ones how to ski in a child-friendly environment.
In the northern part of Masserberg, another t-bar lift on the "Ersteberg" opens up an additional 700 metres of piste for beginners. A ski school also offers courses here and a toboggan slope next to the piste delights young and old alike.
Night skiing Heubach (Masserberg)
There is a very special highlight at Skiarea Heubach when it gets dark on Wednesdays and Saturdays: almost 1 km of the piste at Skiarea Heubach is illuminated with floodlight masts for night skiing. They illuminate the area perfectly so that skiers who couldn't get enough of skiing during the day can still make their turns in the snow after dark and under a starry sky. Even in bad weather, guests don't have to miss out on exercise. The Heubach sports centre offers a full range of indoor sports including tennis, squash and a fitness centre. If you still feel energetic after all the activities, you can extend the evening programme with a game of bowling or skittles / skittle alley at various innkeepers.
Snowpark Heubach (Masserberg): Snowpark Funpark
The highlight of the small Heubach ski area is the fun park. Parallel to the t-bar lift, around 24 obstacles are spread over 20,000 m². In a total of 10 fixed sections, there are several kickers, rails and a wallride for all skill levels. Thanks to floodlights, the park is open until dusk. Heubach is the tour stop for several freestyle ski and snowboard contests, making it a popular area far beyond Thuringia. North of the Alps, this park is the best that skiing Germany has to offer!
