Location

The cosy Hotel Hofgut Sternen is located in the municipality of Breitnau, around 5 km from the centre of Hinterzarten. The nearest ski lift at the Thoma ski centre, a ski bus stop and access to the cross-country ski trail are around 5 km away. The Feldberg ski area is approx. 24 km away.

Facilities

The hotel complex consists of the Schwarzwaldhaus (main building), Glashaus, Goethehaus and Ravennahaus, which are furnished in typical Black Forest style. The main house has a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, lounge, breakfast room (in the market barn), restaurant, lobby bar and free parking spaces (subject to availability). The GoetheHaus is home to the hotel's own gin distillery, where tastings are offered for a fee (see information on site).

Board

The holiday price includes the daily breakfast and evening buffet. In addition, you will receive a hot drink (coffee, tea or hot chocolate) and a piece of cake in the afternoon. Festive menus are served on Christmas Eve and Christmas holidays, and on New Year's Eve there is a gala buffet with musical accompaniment. For bookings with a stay until 04/01/2025, a cup of coffee and a piece of cake are also included once per person/stay (see information on site) as well as an insight into the manufacture of cuckoo clocks in the adjacent GlasManufaktur building (open daily from 09:00 to 17:30) and SteigenHaus.
