Location and facilities
The comfortable Dorint Sporthotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen is situated in a quiet location, approx. 1 km from the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A bus stop (public transport) is about 200 m away and takes you comfortably to the skiing area (approx. 2 km, Hausbergbahn cable car). It is about 750 m to the Eckbauer gondola and about 7 km to the Alpspitzbahn cable car.The hotel consists of a main building and several side buildings and has a reception with lobby, Wi-Fi, lift, restaurants, fireplace bar, ski room and parking spaces for which a fee is charged. There is also a charging station for electric vehicles (subject to availability). The approx. 4,000 m² spa area offers a fitness area with cardio park, weight machines and free weights area as well as a SPA area with indoor pool, counter-current system, waterfall, hot tub, various saunas, steam bath and relaxation room.
In addition, upon payment of the tourist tax, you will receive the region's guest card, which entitles you to some attractive inclusive services and discounts for the duration of your stay. Among other things, the guest card includes free travel on the local buses, discounts at museums and the Zugspitzbad Grainau as well as at many other interesting attractions (restrictions on services and times of use are subject to change, see information on site).
