Location

The cosy 3-star guesthouse Alpengasthof Götschenalm is approx. 3.6 km from the centre of Bischofswiesen. The centre of Berchtesgaden is approx. 9.3 km away. Access to the ski area is possible via the lift just a few metres from your accommodation or the "Götschenkopfbahn" cable car. The "Watzmann Therme" thermal spa, approx. 10 km away, also offers a special wellness experience. Alpine skiers will find slopes almost right on the doorstep. There is also a practice lift for beginners. The cross-country ski trail network is around 6 kilometres away. You can get active on the toboggan run approx. 5 km from the guesthouse. Bischofswiesen railway station is around 3.2 km away. The first shopping facilities are approx. 3.7 km away.

Facilities

Facilities at the rustic accommodation include a reception, Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a breakfast room and the hotel's own restaurant. You can store your winter sports equipment in the ski cellar. There are parking spaces on site - subject to availability.

Board

Board when booking Rooms with half board includes a breakfast buffet. In the evening you will receive a 3-course menu of choice with 2 main course options. One of the options is vegetarian. Alternatives and special requests to the options are not possible.

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • Over-occupancy resulting from babies: not possible
  • Included services when booking with lift pass: Use of the toboggan run at the Hochschwarzeck lift, use of the toboggan run at the Jennerbahn, 1 x daily toll for the Rossfeld panoramic road (only when using the toll road by car), 10% discount on the local thermal bath "Watzmanntherme" (upon presentation of the lift pass)
  • The RVO public bus to the Rossfeld ski area can be used free of charge as part of the obligatory guest card. If a lift pass is presented, there is no toll charge.
  • As of the 24/25 season, skiing on the Jenner will no longer be possible. However, use of the Jennerbahn cable car for pedestrians, tobogganists and winter hikers is included in the lift pass.
