Location and facilities

The welcoming 3-star superior Hotel Am Burgholz is located in a park area, approx. 1 km from the centre of Tabarz. To the ski area Inselberg it is approx. 6 km, and access to the nearest cross-country trail can also be found approx. 6 km away. A public bus stop is approx. 500 from the building and the hotel-own shuttle can be used if booked and paid for locally.

The modern hotel's facilities include a reception with safe (incl.) and entrance area, a lift, Wi-Fi and Internet corner (payable locally), lobby with lounge area, TV room, breakfast room, dining hall, bar, café, drinks and snack shop, playroom, as well as a terrace and garden. Free-of-charge parking spaces and locally payable parking garage are to be found at the accommodation.

The fitness room, as well as the spa area with indoor pool, sauna, Finnish sauna, organic sauna and infrared cabin, provide for great relaxation after a day on the piste (incl., 09:00 - 21:00). Massages and treatments in the beauty centre can be booked and paid for locally.

Rooms

The cosy rooms all have a shower/wc, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (incl.), radio, telephone, hair drier, mini bar (payable locally), sitting corner, some also have a pull-out couch, as well as a balcony or terrace (only upon request, payable locally).

Board

The breakfast is already included in the holiday price and is served in buffet form. Between 23rd and 27th December 2016, dinner (partly with themed buffets), a festive Christmas Eve gala buffet with sparkling wine and a legend and story hike with mulled wine and bonfire is also included in the price. Between 29th December 2016 and 2nd January 2017, besides the included breakfast, there is also dinner with one softdrink and New Year's Eve event with gala buffet and music and dance available. Between 14th and 17th April 2017 dinner is also included, as well as a 3-course Easter menu with one free drink per person (beer, house wine, non-alcoholic drinks), an Easter walk (approx. 2 hours), Easter egg hunter for the children, and a cosy round at the Easter bonfire (from 20:00).
