Information on cross-country skiing

23 km km of cross-country tracks:

Les Portes du Soleil is not just amazing for fans of alpine sports, but also for cross-country skiers too! 250 kilometres of cross-country piste and more skating cross-country trails are waiting to be discovered. Thanks to the altitude of over 1,000 metres and the gentle Alpine foothills, the conditions for cross-country skiing here are almost perfect! The majority of the trails run on the French side. Sometimes there is a cross-country trail fee or at least for the mountain or valley ascent.

With its 23 kilometres of trails and many routes that run along the tree line or through dense spruce forests, the village promises unique experiences. The high-altitude trail 'Le Proclou’ (1,600-1,800 m), which is 6 km long and requires a good level of fitness, offers impressive panoramic views and a high level of snow reliability. Experienced cross-country skiers should definitely try out the 12 km long 'Croix des Combes’, one of the longest and most challenging trails in the ski region.
