Ski area Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski

With the "Grand Domain Ski" lift pass you have access to the Alpe d'Huez ski area, which is mainly on the south/southwest side of the Grandes Rousses mountain massif and guarantees a lot of sunshine. The 249 kilometres of piste and the 85 lifts (1,125 - 3,330 m) are very snow sure: 80 percent of the pistes lie above 1,800 m!

The most spectacular piste, the "Sarenne", starts at the Sarenne Glacier and runs through a tunnel to the face of the Pic Blanc, and from there steeply down into the valley. At 16 km, this is one of the longest pistes in the world! Also just for the advanced is the 3 km long, deep-black steep descent "Tunnel" from Pic Blanc. Beginners will find perfect practice slopes on the outskirts of Alpe d'Huez and Vaujany. Snowboarders are looked after marvellously here as well: The fun park at the chair lift Le Lac Blanc is recommended for pros only, while a further fun park is comparatively easier.

For the season 2016/17, the Signal lift has been turned to a combination lift composed of a 10-person gondola and 8-person chair lift, which transports up to 3,300 winter sports enthusiasts per hour.

With the lift pass, you have free-of-charge access to the swimming pool and the ice rink in Alpe d'Huez (once each), or you can book one activity in the Palais des Sports (without coach, once per stay). From 17/12/2016 until 01/04/2017, you can also go night skiing and night tobogganing, and all guests who have at least a 6 days lift pass will additionally have the chance to ski for two days in the Les 2 Alpes ski are (225 km) and one day each in the ski areas of Serre Chevalier (250 km), Puy St. Vincent (75 km) and the ski areas of Via Lattea (Italy, 400 km).
