Location

The modern 4-star Höhlenstein hotel is situated directly in the centre of Tux. You can access the ski area by taking the Eggalm gondola lift approx. 1 km away, or the Gletscherbus 1 cable car approx. 5,1 km away. Beautiful winter hike trails can be easily accessed directly from the hotel in a couple of minutes on foot. Cross-country skiing trails are in close proximity. Ski buses stop right at the door.

Facilities

The hotel features various amenities, such as a reception (07:00 - 22:00, subject to change), a lobby with a seating area, Wi-Fi, a lift, a hotel restaurant, a hotel bar and a conservatory. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a lockable ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Drivers can use a parking lot - subject to availability.

Spa

Our 70 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul (opening hours: 15:00 - 22:00) and enjoy a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and an infrared cabin. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe and bathing slippers on a loan basis. Opening hours of individual wellness facilities and validity periods are subject to change.

Children

High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Board

The half board catering plan includes a buffet style breakfast with regional products. At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with 2 choices for appetisers as well as 3 various options for the main course, with a salad bar. There is a children's menu at dinner. On request, we also serve vegetarian alternatives.
