Location and facilities

The family-run Hotel Stangl is located in a sunny and quiet spot in the centre of Thaur. The lifts of the Glungezer ski area can be reached within approx. 12 km. Innsbruck is approx. 7 km away. The bus to Hall and Innsbruck stops in front of the hotel (public transportation, for a fee). There is also a ski bus (for a fee, according to the notice board on site).

The traditional hotel is stylishly furnished and has a spacious lobby area with reception, lift, common room, Wi-Fi in the lobby, hotel bar with lounge, terrace, restaurant and a la carte restaurant. A ski cellar with ski boot dryer, parking spaces and a parking garage are also available for free. The sauna area with Finnish sauna, steam room, hot tub and relaxation room can be used for free daily from 15:00 - 18:00 (with advance registration, opening hours subject to change).

Moreover, you will receive the "Schatzkarte Region Hall-Wattens" (guest card), which grants you reductions and services at various facilities (e.g. free public transport, reductions on guided tours in Hall, on entry to the "Alpenschwimmbad Wattens" pool, Gnadenwald cross-country trail and much more. Rooms

The rooms are furnished in a friendly Tyrolean style and have a bathroom with bath or shower with separate wc, satellite TV, seating area, telephone, hair dryer, safe and cosmetic mirror.

Board

The All Inclusive board comprises a rich breakfast buffet (7:00 - 9:00), a sleep-in breakfast (9:00 - 10:00) and a soup with pastries (14:00 - 16:00). In the evening (18:30 - 20:00), a 3-course menu is served. Throughout the day (10:00 - 22:00), you can help yourself to soft drinks and water. Draught beer and house wine (red and white wine) is included in the evening (17:00 - 22:00). Vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free meals are available on request (payable in resort, must be requested at the time of booking) A children's menu is also available. During your stay you are allowed to prepare 1 x packed lunch (advance booking required the day before).

    Important notes

    • The lift pass cannot be deselected. The use of the lifts by children aged 14 and under is only possible when accompanied by a full-paying parent. Children do not receive their own lift pass on site. Should children ski independently or attend a ski course where a lift pass is required, this must be purchased separately.
    • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
