Location
The rustic 3-star Hotel Berghof Tauplitzalm is perfectly located directly in the ski area (near the mountain station) at approx. 1,650 m above sea level. So you can start your ski day early and get on your skis right after breakfast.Facilities
The hotel facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, restaurant, café, children's playroom and a ski cellar. The sauna can be used 3 times a week (see info on site). Parking is available at the valley station or at the end of the Alpinestraße toll road.The hotel also offers an entertainment programme with children's cinema, disco, dance and cocktail evenings as well as skidoo rides for children (subject to change, see info on site).
The arrival to the mountain hotel is possible with the chairlift of the valley station or by car (to the parking lot about 2 km away, for a fee) and subsequent transfer.

Important notes
- Winter equipment is required for vehicles (self-drive arrival) using the Alpine road (toll payable).
- Access to the house not possible, but there is a free shuttle from/to the hotel (approx. 2 km). The shuttle takes the luggage. In this case, you can leave your car in the monitored pay car park at the end of the Alpenstraße.
- If you arrive by chairlift (only possible until 16:00), you can park your car free of charge in the unguarded car park at the valley station. If you arrive by chairlift, please contact the hotel regarding your luggage.
- No lift pass voucher is issued for infants up to and including 5 years of age, they ski free when accompanied by their parents. Should children in this age group use the lifts unaccompanied by their parents or attend a ski course on site that requires a ski pass, a children's lift pass must be purchased separately on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
