Location

The traditional 4-star Superior Sporthotel Royer is situated approx. 900 m away from the centre of Schladming. You can access the ski area by taking the Planai gondola lift approx. 500 m away, or the Planai West cable car approx. 2 km away. In addition, the Rohrmoos 1 cable car operates in the area, the station is approx. 2 km away. Nearby there is an indoor swimming pool, the Erlebnisbad Schladming. The thermal spa Erlebnis-Therme Amadé also offers a special wellness experience and is situated approx. 24 km away. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 6 km away from the hotel. Ski buses stop within about 100 m. The Schladming railway station can be reached after approx. 1,5 km. Shuttle service can get you to the train station. There is also a shuttle service to the mountain railway station.

Facilities

Our hotel offers various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a common room, a lift, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a heated ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Drivers can use a parking lot, a parking garage (for a fee) and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

As a guest at the sport hotel Royer, you have free daily access to the Schladming public adventure bath, which you can easily reach via a heated access route from the hotel. The centre features approx. 380 m² of water surface area, 25-metre swimming lanes, a counter-current system, a lazy river, a massage bench, a waterfall shower, an all-weather outdoor pool, a toddler pool and a slide approx. 66 metres long. In the hotel’s own sauna area, covering approx. 100 m², you’ll find a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and tepidarium. You can also relax in the relaxation area with its fresh-air terrace, exclusively for hotel guests. Massages are available for a fee.

Children

The children’s playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for our younger guests. The teens’ lounge, with its chill zone and cinema, and the fun room, with table tennis, a pinball machine and much more, also ensure plenty of fun. The hotel offers childcare during the Austrian school holidays – subject to changes, restrictions on services and validity periods; please see information on site. Cot beds are available for an additional charge; high chairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

For leisure activities, the accommodation offers billiards (for a fee) and darts (for a fee). In addition, the hotel offers a wide range of sporting facilities, including a fitness room, a skittles alley, an indoor tennis court (included until 4 pm, for a fee), table tennis, a bowling alley (for a fee) and squash (for a fee).

Board

The half board catering plan includes a wholesome and generous buffet style breakfast (07:00 - 10:30). At dinner (18:30 - 20:30), our cooks put together a 5-course menu of choice with a salad bar. A gala dinner event takes place regularly. On request, we also serve dietary meals, lactose-free dishes, gluten-free, vegetarian as well as vegan alternatives.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) can use the lift systems free of charge. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a minicard (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
• Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 - 12/04/2026 - Children born in 2010 or younger receive a free multi-day ticket for 6 days or more (official family ID required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket from 6 days for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
