Ski area Kellerjoch

The Kellerjoch ski area is around 9 kilometres from Pill. Skiers and snowboarders can reach the pistes via the Arzberg double chairlift. A total of 14 kilometres of pistes stretch between 1,350 m and 1,900 m above sea level. In addition to the chairlift, there are two T-bar lifts. The Kellerjoch is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all abilities and is particularly popular with families, as the pistes are mostly easy to moderately difficult.

There is also the Grafenast children's area, where the little ones can playfully learn to ski on two magic carpets on a gentle sunny slope.

For experienced skiers and snowboarders, the ski area offers some wide and well-groomed pistes, while the black run from the Hecherhaus is a challenge for those who want more. There is also a ski route (1 km), which is also suitable for all skill levels.

The Kellerjoch (2,344 m) also offers nature lovers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Snow cannons make snow on around 30% of the pistes, ensuring that winter sports enthusiasts get their money's worth even when there is little snow.

Après ski Pill

If you're looking for a proper après-ski party in Pill, you should head to the neighbouring villages in the Zillertal. Whether in Fügen, Kaltenbach or Mayrhofen - you're sure to find an après-ski party or two here. The towns themselves offer a more cosy atmosphere.

In Pill, the historic Kreuzkirchl pilgrimage church and the parish church of St Anne are waiting to be explored. Ski guests will also find monuments and museums in the cultural town of Schwaz, 4 kilometres away. Here you can also take a wonderful stroll through the historic old town to soak up the medieval flair and marvel at the buildings from the heyday of silver mining. Innsbruck also offers great shopping opportunities and a wide range of cultural activities. The provincial capital of Tyrol is just 28 km away and can be easily reached by motorway or train.

The culinary offers in Pill consist of several charming inns in the village and on the surrounding mountain pastures. Especially in the run-up to Christmas, events such as the Advent bazaar or the traditional Advent stick shooting round off the programme away from the slopes. And if you haven't had enough of the snow by then, you should definitely try out the natural toboggan run on the Kellerjoch. The run is suitable for young and old and is conveniently connected to the ski area's double chairlift.
