Location

The cosy Almdorf Reiteralm chalet is situated approx. 6 km away from the centre of Pichl at an altitude of approx. 1.200 m. The centre of Schladming deserves a visit, and is approx. 11,5 km away from the accommodation. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Preunegg Jet mountain railway approx. 1,6 km away. Alpine skiers can get on a slope directly at the door. The next public transport stop is about 1,6 km away. Nearby shopping opportunities can be reached within approx. 8,6 km, cafés and restaurants are just outside the door.

Facilities

Our accommodation features various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a common room, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar with a ski boot dryer. Drivers can use a parking lot and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Our staff provides guests with sauna towels on a loan basis.

Children

Children can play in the fresh air at the outdoor playground. High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • Over-occupancy resulting from babies: not possible
  • The use of the lifts is free of charge for children aged 5 or under in Pichl. These children will be issued with a free mini card at the lift ticket office on site. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 - 06/04/2026 - Children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass for 6 days or more (official proof of family relationship required). This is subject to at least one parent purchasing a multi-day pass for 6 days or more for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling together or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
