At a glance
Location
The cosy Rübezahl-Hütte is located at an altitude of approx. 1,450 m, approx. 150 m next to the mountain station of the Markbachjochbahn cable car in Niederau, directly in the "Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau" ski area, and therefore offers you the ideal ski-in and ski-out option. The village centre of Niederau is approx. 400 m away from the valley station of the gondola. The Rübezahl-Hütte can only be reached via the Markbachjochbahn cable car (for a fee, see local information for cable car opening times).Facilities
The general facilities include a reception, breakfast room, restaurant, bar and a ski cellar. You can park your car free of charge at the Lanerköpfl lift car park (for the duration of your stay). The parking spaces at the Markbachjochbahn valley station are subject to a charge (see information on site).The small wellness area with sauna, sanarium and relaxation area invites you to relax (for a fee, depending on room type).

Important notes
- Please note that on arrival the ascent with the Markbachjoch gondola lift is not included in the price until 15:30 (from 15:30, however, free of charge, last ascent approx. 16:30, see information on site). Luggage is transported from the mountain station of the Markbachjoch cable car to the Rübezahl hut on arrival and departure by skidoo (approx. 150 m walk for guests).
- You must bring your own towels and bed linen for the four-bed room with shower/WC (in the corridor) and the four-bed room with shower/WC. Sheets are available in the accommodation.
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Costs/Local Services).
