Location

The modern mountain hotel Rettenstein is approx. 14 km from the centre of Neukirchen am Großvenediger, in the middle of the Wildkogel Arena ski area. Arrival and departure to the hotel is only possible with the lift from Neukirchen and during operating hours. Alpine skiers and snowboarders will find slopes almost on the doorstep.

Facilities

Facilities at the comfortable hotel include a reception, Wi-Fi, library, lounge, lift, breakfast room, hotel restaurant, parlour and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in the ski cellar. Public parking spaces are available at the valley station of the Wildkogelbahn cable car in Neukirchen am Großvenediger (for a fee).

Spa

The spa area invites you to relax. Here you will find a Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, infrared cabin and adventure shower. You can also relax in the relaxation room and recharge your batteries in the refreshment area with tea.

Children

The children's playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger guests. Highchairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability).

Board

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• There is no room cleaning on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
• Please note that your accommodation is located in the ski area. Arrival and departure with the lift is only included if you book a lift pass. Arrival is only possible during the operating hours (until 15:30) of the gondola, after closing time no arrival is possible. Transportation with the Wildkogelbahn is possible from 15:00 on the day of arrival and until 11:00 on the day of departure.
• Take the Wildkogelbahn from Neukirchen am Großvenediger, where the P1 parking space is available for the duration of your stay. Luggage transport is only possible outside peak times (i.e. from 09:00 to 10:30 and from 15:00 to 15:30). Once you arrive at the top station of the Neukirchen-Wildkogel lift, you can either leave your luggage with the lift staff or transport it down to the valley station yourself on the "Ganzeralm" chair lift, which is approx. 60 metres away; the hotel is located approx. 40 metres above the valley station of the "Ganzeralm" chair lift. If you have not booked a lift pass, you must purchase a ticket for the ascent and descent for arrival and departure on site.
