Location and facilities
The hotel Das Jochelius, of which was newly built in 2017, is situated in a quiet location at 1,900 m above sea level in the middle of the Nauders ski area. This means that you can be the first on the piste in the mornings and comfortably ski back to the hotel in the evening (ski in and ski out). Shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in the valley in Nauders.The comfortable hotel offers a magnificent mountain view and has a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, bar, restaurant, lounge as well as a heated and lockable ski wardrobe for each room.
Arrival at the mountain hotel is only possible with the Bergkastelbahn (until 4 pm) or as a non-skier with the Jochelius-Express (only at 4:30 pm). From the mountain station you can ski directly to the hotel via the Goldsee piste. Skiers either need a valid lift pass for the day of arrival (not included) or need to purchase a single lift ticket on site. Non-skiers please contact the hotel one day before arrival to ensure transfer to the hotel. Your luggage will be transported directly from the Jochelius Anreisehaus (arrival house, at the car park of the Nauders mountain railway) to your booked room (luggage transport on the day of arrival and departure included). You can park your car free of charge at the valley station of the Bergkastelbahn (reserved parking spaces for hotel guests). Additionally, you can get your lift pass at the Jochelius Anreisehaus (arrival house).
Rooms
The charming and comfortable rooms are furnished with love and great attention to detail. They have a bathroom with spa shower and WC, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, mini bar and telephone (each for a fee), radio, safe, hair dryer, Nespresso coffee machine (incl. capsules), care products, bathrobe, felt slippers and a private infrared cabin. From the balcony or terrace of the rooms you have a great mountain view.Board
The all-inclusive light catering included in the holiday price comprises a welcome schnapps, a hearty late riser breakfast until 11:00 with typical Tyrolean delicacies, a lunch snack with cold and hot dishes (12:00 - 14:00) as well as an afternoon snack (15:00 - 17:00) with home made cake and hearty "Marende" (Tyrolean snack). In the evening the hotel will spoil you with a 5 - 7-course menu with various choices and a rich salad, as well as a cheese buffet. Drinks as coffee, tea, water, juice or lemonade are included from 7:30 - 22:00. Special menus for guests with allergies and diet food are also available with prior notification.Pets

Important notes
- Please note: Travellers with babies or dogs can use the Jochelius-Express at 16:30 (free of charge on the day of arrival and departure, by prior registration with the hotel only!). Skiers either need a valid lift pass for the day of arrival (not included) or have to buy a single lift ticket on site (approx. €15 per person).
- No lift pass voucher will be provided for children up to and including 5 years of age. For each adult lift pass purchased, one accompanying child receives a free ticket for the use of the lifts in resort (ID required). If there are more children than adults travelling, a children's lift pass must be purchased in resort. Further information can be obtained from the lift ticket office.
- From 11/12 - 18/12/2022 only the ski area Nauders-Schöneben is open, the included lift pass is only valid for this area and cannot be deselected.
- From 08/01 - 29/01/2023 the Nauders-Schöneben 6 days lift pass is included in the holiday price for a 7-night stay, this cannot be deselected and is only valid for the Nauders-Schöneben ski area.
- When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds

Reductions
Depending on the room type, age of the traveller, arrival date and lift pass, you could receive various reductions to the holiday price.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
