Location and facilities

The 3-star Alpenhotel Marcius, furnished in a typical Austrian country house style, is situated at an altitude of around 1,400 m in Sonnleitn am Nassfeld, only about 50 m from the piste and the lift as well as approx. 100 m from the ski practice area. Very well signposted winter hiking tracks pass the hotel directly and approx. 4 km away, you find the nearest prepared cross-country trail.

The cosy accommodation offers a reception with safe, entrance area, Wi-Fi, hotel bar, common room, parlour, restaurant, a la carte restaurant and a ski room with boot dryers. Children can play in the playroom and the play corner close to the restaurant. The sun terrace, also open in winter, invites with a beautiful view (self-service). Free-of-charge parking spaces and a fee-based parking garage can also be found and used where available.

The approx. 200 m² spa area (10:00 - 22:00) has an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and a relaxation room, all of which can be used for free. The fitness can also be used for free. Massages are possible for a fee. For your entertainment, darts, billiards, table football, table tennis (upon availability, sometimes for a fee) and free toboggan hire are also available.

Rooms

The friendly furnished rooms are equipped with shower, separate wc, satellite TV with integrated radio, Wi-Fi (only in the main building) and hair dryer. Allocation can take place in both the main or side buildings.

Board

Half board is included in your holiday price and consists of a rich breakfast buffet and evening buffet with cold appetisers, soups, salad bar and dessert bar as well as a choice of 4 main dishes. Three times per week, a themed evening also takes place. The New Year's Eve menu and the Christmas menu are also included.

Additionally, you receive a 10% discount on food in the ski hut Lockstanalm.

  • Children aged 5 or under will not receive a voucher for their lift pass. Children of this age group ride for free when accompanied by a parent. For children riding independently (e.g. as part of ski lessons), a lift pass must be purchased locally. Further information is available at the lift office.
  • Please note: No changes (including name changes) to booked lift passes are possible as of 5 days before departure. Subsequent bookings are only possible without a lift pass from this point onwards.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
