The Carinthian nature arena around Nassfeld has a cross-country ski trail network totalling more than 130 km - making it one of the longest cross-country ski trail networks in Austria! The cross-country trails are perfectly groomed so that both skating-style fans and classic-style fans get their money's worth.
A total of 42 km of cross-country trails are grouped around the ski area. A free ski bus takes you comfortably to all cross-country trails. A special tip is the Sonnenloipe near Kirchbach, which leads through a marvellous winter landscape. The lake cross-country trail at Lago Pramollo at Nassfeld is also impressive, where the trails run partly on Austrian and partly on Italian soil.
The cross-country trail network has been awarded the cross-country quality seal.
If you want to try your hand at biathlon under expert guidance, you should visit the new "Nordic Competence Centre" at the valley station of the Millennium Express in Tröpolach.
