Location and facilities

The comfortable 4-star Sport & Spa Hotel Strass is located in the pedestrian area of Mayrhofen, right at the Penkenbahn lift. The ski bus that takes you to the Ahornbahn lift stops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, and when snow conditions allow it, a cross-country trail can be reached after about 300 m.

The accommodation is composed of three buildings (Hotel, Sporthotel and Garni), which are connected via a panoramic bridge. Facilities include a reception area, lobby, lift, Wi-Fi, fitness room, breakfast room and restaurants, bar, café, lounge, ski and boot room, disco and terrace. Free parking spaces can also be found and used where available. For a fee, you can also make use of the parking garage.

The spa area measuring approx. 3.000 m² with its indoor pool, sauna, Finnish sauna, organic sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and hot tub, is also available to enjoy for free. For a fee, the solarium, beauty centre and various massages can also be enjoyed.

Further facilities of the hotel include table tennis, a fitness room and a squash hall. A children's playroom can also be enjoyed by the little ones.

The comfortable rooms and junior suites are comprised of a bathtub or shower/WC, TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe and balcony.

Board

The already included half board consists of a breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course evening menu. On Christmas (24/12), a 4-course Christmas dinner will be served, and on New Year's Eve, a 5-course dinner is prepared.

  • Access to the spa area is permitted to guests ages 14 and up.
  • Access to the indoor pool is only permitted to children when accompanied by an adult.
  • To borrow a bathrobe, a credit card must be provided.
  • The Hotel Garni categorised with 3 stars, the junior suites in the Hotel Garni, however, are categorised with 4 stars.
  • Casual clothing is required for dinner, no jogging trousers are permitted.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
