Location

The cosy Hostel Oberau is located in the village centre of Aberg, about 1.5 km from Maria Alm and some shopping facilities. The Abergbahn cable car (Hochkönig ski area) is around 280 metres away and in good snow conditions you can ski right up to the house. The nearest cross-country ski trail and a toboggan run are approx. 1 km away.

Facilities

The general facilities of the accommodation include Wi-Fi and a ski cellar. There are also free parking spaces (subject to availability).

You will also receive the HochkönigCard on site, with which you can benefit from a number of free services and discounts in the region, such as free admission to the National Park Centre (subject to changes and restrictions, see information on site).

Board

Depending on the room type booked, breakfast or no catering is included in the price. The breakfast option includes a rich breakfast buffet, which is prepared in the Hotel Unser Unterberg, approx. 50 metres away. Gluten-free, lactose-free and vegetarian dishes can also be prepared on request.

  • Please note that when booking the four-bed or eight-bed rooms, there is no daily room cleaning service.
  • Use of the lifts is free of charge for children aged 5 or under in Maria Alm. Should your child use the lifts in other ski areas of the Ski amadé independently, a Minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
