Location and facilities

The family-run, 3-star Pension Sonnhof lies in a sunny, quiet location at the edge of the forest, approx. 200 m from the centre of Lofer and from the Lofer Alm lift. A bus stop can be reached within approx. 500 m and access to the cross-country runs is approx. 350 m from the building.

The facilities of the friendly Pension include a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, TV room and ski and boot room. Free parking spaces are also available at the house (upon availability). The in-house indoor swimming pool (opening hours according to the notice on site) is available free of charge, the infrared cabin (opening hours according to the notice on site) can be used for a fee.

Rooms

The cosy rooms include shower/wc, cable TV and have either a balcony or terrace.

Board

The total holiday price is calculated to include a breakfast buffet.

Important notes

  • For children aged 5 years or younger, no lift pass voucher is issued. They will receive a free lift pass in the resort, which allows them to use the lifts for free when accompanied by a parent (max. 1 child per parent). Should there be more children travelling than adults, a lift pass will have to be purchased at the resort. Further information is available at the lift office.
  • Family-friendly promotion: 14/03/2026 - 06/04/2026. Children born in 2007 or later (ID required) receive a free multi-day pass for 3 days or more. This is subject to at least one parent purchasing a multi-day pass for 3 days or more for the same period. No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 5 or under. They will receive a free lift pass on site, which allows them to ski for free when accompanied by their parents (max. 1 child per parent). If there are more children than adults travelling together or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
