Location and facilities

The family-run 3-star Hotel Gasthof Schroll is located in the centre of Kirchbichl, approx. 10 km from the Salvista lift in Itter, as well as the access point to the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. The ski bus to Itter stops directly across from the hotel, in approx. 50 m. In Angerberg, about 2 km away, there is a popular and prized cross-country ski centre.

The traditional hotel's facilities include a reception with safe (for a fee), lift, lounge, à la carte restaurant, dining room, a rustic hunting parlour, the "Schroll" barn and bar, where various events take place, wine cellar, and heated ski room. Free parking spaces can be used as well, based on availability.

You can also take part in a torch-lit hike (most likely Tuesdays) with a mulled wine tasting or enjoy one free schnapps at the hotel's own "Keat-Alm" ski hut. For a charge, a wine tasting can be organised (at least 6 participants).

For children, there is a special play area and on request, childcare for children ages 5-12 can be arranged (Mon. - Fri., 9:00 - 16:00, for a fee, as per info in resort, subject to restrictions and changes). Additionally, you will receive the "Kitzbühler Alpen Card" with numerous services and discounts, for e.g. various leisure time facilities or public transportation (services subject to change, as per info in resort).

Rooms

The rooms, some of which per renovated in 2020, offer a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, Wi-Fi, radio and some also have a balcony.

Board

The already included half board consists of a welcome drink, a rich breakfast buffet with organic food corner and breakfast egg (for a fee) as well as a 3-course evening meal of your choice (2 main dishes to choose from), sometimes with salad bar. A New Year's Eve buffet with live music is also included. For the littler guests, a children's meal is available every day.

Additionally with stays from 2 nights, you will receive one voucher worth €10 per double room (€5 per single room), and with stays from 3 nights one voucher worth €20 (€10 per single room) for drinks at the hotel bar.
