Location and facilities
The inviting 4-star Heritage Hotel Hallstatt is located in the resort centre of Hallstatt, about 5 km away from the Dachstein-Krippenstein ski area. A free ski bus to the Dachstein West ski area as well as a free "Thermen" bus to Bad Ischl both stop about 800 m away.The historically significant, yet modern hotel is composed of three buildings that are under a preservation order, all of which are about 300 m - 500 m away from each other. The facilities of the main house "Haus Kainz" include a welcome area with reception and luggage service, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, café and a ski and boot room.
As the resort centre of Hallstatt is car-free, cars can be parked in the public parking lot (approx. 1 km) for a fee. A shuttle service can then take you from here to your hotel.
