Location

The modern 4-star Heritage Hotel Hallstatt is located right in the centre of Hallstatt. Access to the ski area is possible via the Krippensteinbahn 1 lift, approximately 6.9 km away, or the Hornspitz Express lift, approximately 15.5 km away. The Therme Bad Ischl thermal spa, approximately 20.4 km away, also offers a special spa experience. A free ski bus to the Dachstein West ski area and a free thermal spa bus to Bad Ischl stop approximately 800 m away.

Facilities

The historic yet modern hotel consists of three listed buildings (Haus Kainz, Seethaler and Stocker), each approximately 300-500 metres apart. The comfortable main building, Haus Kainz, features a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, breakfast room, hotel restaurant, café and hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room. As the centre of Hallstatt is a traffic-calmed zone, cars can be parked in the public car park (approx. 1 km away) for a fee. A shuttle service will take you from here to your hotel.

Board

When booking rooms with half board, meals include a breakfast buffet. In the evening, you can choose from a 3-course menu.

  • Active Family promotion: 07/03/2026 - 06/04/2026 - When booking for 5 or more days, children born in 2010 or afterwards (ID required) receive a free multi-day ticket. The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket of 5 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
