Location

The family-friendly Hotel Dorfer is located approximately 6 km from the centre of Großarl. Access to the ski area is via the "Hochbrandbahn" cable car, which is about 5 km away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails about 6 km away. You can also enjoy sporting activities on the toboggan run, which is approximately 6 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop right outside the hotel.

Facilities

The partially refurbished hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, a lounge, a lift, a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant and a hotel bar. There is a terrace in the outdoor area. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On-site facilities include car parks, a multi-storey car park (subject to charge) and a charging station for electric cars (subject to charge) – subject to availability.

Spa

The spa area invites you to relax. Here you will find a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and Kneipp facility. You can also relax in the relaxation room. Bathrobes and sauna towels are available on site (on loan). From March onwards, the heated outdoor pool is also available for use

Children

High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

Sports facilities and activities at the hotel include a sports programme. There are regular courses and classes, including snowshoeing and ski tours. Guests can hire parlour games or a sledge / toboggan - subject to availability.

Board

The half board catering plan includes a varied buffet style breakfast with pastries as well as egg dishes. At dinner, our cooks put together a 4-course menu of choice with a starter buffet as well as a salad bar. There is a children's menu at dinner. On request, we also serve dietary meals, lactose-free dishes, gluten-free, vegetarian as well as vegan alternatives.

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• To participate in BERG-GESUND activities, prior registration via the website is required (limited number of participants). Additional costs may be incurred on site for travel, meals and equipment. Further information is available directly from your accommodation provider.
• The use of the lift facilities is free of charge for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) in Großarl. These children will be issued with a free mini card at the lift ticket office on site. If your child wishes to use the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
