Location

The family-run Birnbaum Chalets Grossarl are located approximately 850 m from the centre of Großarl. Access to the Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski area is via the “Panoramabahn Großarltal”, which is about 1.3 km away. Cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the network of trails about 200 m away. Ski buses stop approximately 200 m away.

Facilities

The comfortable accommodation features a reception, Wi-Fi and a library. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski/snowboard storage room. On-site parking is available – subject to availability.

Spa

The feel-good chalets are modern and furnished in an Alpine style with plenty of wood, and each has a private sauna. In winter, the on-site natural swimming lake can be used as a plunge pool for sauna-goers (see information on site). Bathrobes are available on site (on loan).

Children

The chalet has a children’s play area. High chairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability). Baby baths can also be provided.

Entertainment

During your stay, you can borrow board games – subject to availability.

Important notes

• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• The use of the lift facilities is free of charge for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) in Großarl. These children will be issued with a free mini card at the lift ticket office on site. If your child wishes to use the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a mini card (lift pass) may need to be purchased on site.
